Line/Call Appearance Light 1

Hello....

I have a magix R3.0 and use WinSMP to program....we have changed from PBX to Key Station.

When you pick-up/hang-up the phone it's always connected to an outside line, whatever you are doing, when you hang up the red light always defaults to one of the outside line.

Was wondering if it's possible to always have the light on the "Ext Ring" button? ....So, in order to place an outside line, you would have to pick one one of the lines.

I know there's a line preference on/off feature, but that makes it look like the phone is dead.

Try Auto Line Select

In WinSPM, go to Centralized Telephone Programming, enter the extension, select ANY line, dial *14, now select the SA buttons, and then the line buttons in the order you want the phone to select them, and then dial **14
