the power went out.
line 1 has a solid red light that stays on. when i push
line 1 from ext 10 i hear 2 clicks on the
phone and the solid red light turns to
flashing, alternating between red and green.
if i unplug line 1 from the system and plug it back in the
red light stays on but i get a dial tone. i
can make a call with the dial tone but it
doesn't hang up so after that annoying noise
of the phone being off the hook for too long
stops it goes back to the 2 clicks.
i unplug lines 1 and 2 from the system to switch them and
line 1 works in line 2's port but i get the
same problem with line 2 in line 1's port.
i have 4 lines on this system and i assigned 4 lines in the
initial system setup.
i have a 5 slot carrier that has always been set up from
left to right as;
308 module - vs mail - acs processor - empty - empty
lines 1, 2 and 3 are in their proper spots on the processor
and line 4 is in the first spot on the module.
everything has worked right until now
