line 064 on bcm50 does not flash or ring

Line 064 on BCM 50 does not flash or ring on incoming calls yet you can answer the call...dialtone is there
Line 064 is on the 4 internal analogue trks. of the main unit
it is setup to appear and ring
lines 061,062 and 063 ring and flash on the sets
if i disable and renable the 4 internal trks then all is well
this only lasts for 2 days
has anyone an answer or experienced this

We are experiencing the same problem with line 064 on our BCMs at multiple site locations. The temporary fix has been to reboot the BCM through Element Manager. The only commonality to each location’s physical setup, is that we had a single line analog phone connected off of our Line 4 with the ringer switched off. We recently removed the analog phone and are waiting to see if this helps the problem. We have mixed versions of '1.00.2.04 j' and 'g' BCMs in our environment. The problem occurs on both versions. We have patched our 'g' versions.
 
Quick update... Removing the analog phone line did not solve the problem.

I will load the BCM50.039 DSP-FPGA patch

I installed the bmc050.038 patch.. Seemed to fix the problem
 
COMTECTECH, not sure where you found bcm050.038 I do not even see this patch. I believe that bcm050.039 is the patch that actually addresses this problem. I just installed patches bcm050.081, bcm050.083, and bcm050.039 on one of my g and j version bcm50s. I have verified on both units that line 4 is alerting via bcm monitor.
 
I seemed to transpose bcm050.038 with bcm050.083. Thanks for pointed out the obevious. One full day of business no problems so far. I DID NOT INSTALL THE BCM050.039 patch.

I have now installed all three of the patches on all 7 of my BCM50s. I have been verifying that line 4 on all of them is ringing correctly every day. This is definitely the longest I have gone without having the problem.
