I need to be able to place a filter on a specific table in my 2005 database that when particular users make a request it filters the results so they don't receive information they are not privileged to.

Is there a database trigger or stored procedure that I could put in place that would allow this?

Thanks for the help

Cassidy

You can try creating a view with the same name as the table that will select different information depending on USER_NAME() function.
This assumes that user_name does contain the right information.
