Hi,
Is there anyway to stop users adding their own calendar entries to their own calendar, such as just giving them reader access like you can do for other users accessing other peoples calendar.
Thanks
Miguel

What you are asking is kind of like trying to find a way to keep people from using the trunk (or boot) of their own car.
No can do, sir. The car comes with a trunk, and the user has the key.

Why exactly do you want to do such a thing ?

Pascal.

Hi Pascal,

I didn't think it would be possible and I've played around with a few things but all to no avail. Our Director wants only her PA to put peoples appointments in their diarys, not for the user to be able to their own in.

Thanks
Miguel

Well, the fact that users can create their own calendar entries does not prevent the director's PA from doing it too.
But I understand - there is no arguing with a Director.

Thankfully, there is no arguing with technology either.

Pascal.
