Hi,
Many users here are keeping about 300 mails in their inboxes. I would like to limit the size of their mailbox. I know that you have to double-click on the mailbox name and go to the limits tab. However, how do I check what the current size of someone's mailbox is? I need to know this so that I can set the appropriate maximum limits. Thanks.

I forgot to mention, we are using Outlook 2000. I was thinking that the size of the outlook.pst file will tell me how large the mailbox is including contacts, calendar, etc.
Am I correct?

Hi, I'm assuming that you are running Exch 5.5 or 2000? If you are using exchange 5.5, go into Exch Admin - then select your site - then Servers, Private Information Stores - Mailbox resources. That will give you a list of all mailboxes and their sizes.
I'm not sure how to check the sizes of individual folders - like the contacts etc...

Hope this helps,

Julian

You can check the size of the individual folders by go to the Outlook Today folder at the top of the folder list in Outlook and then right click >> Properties >> Click the Folder Size... BUTTON. It will display the size all folders in the mailbox including Calendar and Contacts.

Thanks for the information guys. I was able to see the size of the folders through Outlook just as littlebigsky mentioned. I will also check the mailbox sizes from the server today. I am running Exch 5.5
