I've experienced many times where there is an alarm light on a given module (many times V7 on a G350) but there is no alarm in the system. Has anyone got a handle on these and why they come on and stay on?

mmm yeah, the maintenance manual. I've got that...

Login into the mgp and look at the result of the show faults command. I have had to clear the alarms at the gateway itself several times.

I've done that, nothing under show faults either.

I've had this on s8300/G700 before, I never managed to clear the alarm

"show faults" was clear, and there were no alarms in linux or CM either

I upgraded all firmware and restarted the system, alarm still re-appeared.

Reset the v7 module at command prompt and the alarm will go away. What version of firmware does the analog module use?

Yes, it does go away. But they come back again. I have a site with 24 G350's. The alarm lights aren't causing a problem, and the trunk on V7 is up OK. Just annoying that's all.
The firmware is up to date - 65 I believe? Something like that.

It is a firmware issue. Try the new 67 load and see if it resolves your problem. I have only experienced this paticular problem with the newer(go figure)firmware 60, 61 and 63 have this issue. 5X firmware did not have this problem. Hope this helps.
