Licenses Violation in all 7 nodes.

Hi Guys,

One of my client has and issue of license violation in all 7 x nodes. The message I get in the main Mitel controller is : "Lost connectivity to peers ( Hours since detection: 520 ); However I can able to call extension on those nodes and I can also able to do sync onto those nodes.

Client are on Version 5.0 sp2 pr1 and the main Mitel controller can reach AMC to do licenses sync.

Can anybody assist with this please guys.

sounds like a network problem between the license manager and the nodes
The License manager must be able to see the amc
The other nodes must be able to see the license manager

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

Hi Billz,

The main controller can see AMC and we can sync to AMC without issues. My other question is all nodes must also able to see AMC or just main controller which governs GARID?

What puzzles me is the network is not even utilized to half of it, but yet i get violation of licenses. My client has enough licenses.

So how can I resolve the issue?

Only the DLM system needs to be able to contact the AMC once the initial 'enterprise' licensing has been synched.
Synching through the licensing and options form will not update the violations you need to use the Group application licencing form where you have the GARID and local system set and click 'save' once saved you will need to perform an SDS sync start with group licencing to all systems then a full sync.
