I was told by my sales rep that I cannot add 9.0 end point licenses to a 8.1 system which were already ordered. She's going to get back to me tomorrow. Another tech I know says no problems with it and end point is an end point. Which is right?
Yep, we're tossing the dice. This is one of those last minute jobs. They are moving into a new facility on Monday so naturally buy the phone stuff the Thursday before. Then complain about the cost of overnight shipping.
Avaya only changed the part number/description to A) Charge more for the licences and B) Track the amount of licences sold to R9+ systems, the licences generated are the same as they always have been
