When we delete an account from AD it will still show up under the Licenses. I revoke the accounts but if you restart the server, they will come back and you will start to get these errors again:

Source: LicenseServer
Event ID: 202

The product Windows Server is out of licenses. Use License Manager from the Administrative Tools folder for more information on which users are out of compliance and how many licenses should be purchased.

Does anyknow know how to refresh your CALs or how to remove a user from the licenses?

Thanks much!

Please let me know if you need more information. I'm not sure what else you need to know. Thanks in advance.

The easiest thing to do is disable the license logging service on all of your servers. This service is pretty buggy, and it is not necessary to track your licenses. It is disabled by default in Server 2003.

The only thing that matters with respect to tracking Windows licenses is the physical documentation, not the license GUI.

Ok thanks for the information!
