License for LAB setup

Hi Team,

We have recently upgraded our hardware for CM. I want to keep Old hardware to setup my lab.

Old hardware : CM server S8320. CM Version 5.1

I have one spare G650 Gateway with IPSI card.

I am not able to use site administration . License mismatch error.

Is there way to edit license file on old server to point to IPSI?

How do I generate license file for LAB CM?

Old server is not under support.

I think you would have had to create a new license file in rfa using the new ipsi serial number before you converted your licenses to plds.

Because 6.x uses mac address, you could put your spare ipsi in the 6.0 system and use your original ipsi in the lab.

Thanks for reply. Actually we upgraded to 5.2.1 and not 6.x.
