Greetings,

I'm trying to write a simple application that tests a CAN device, I have a .LIB file that contains the functions I need to "talk" with the hardware, but it won't link - .\Can841m.lib : fatal error LNK1136: invalid or corrupt file - the problem is that I can see the content - the functions - of that file with a DLL sniffer.

Anyone has an idea on how to make this work?

From what I've managed to dig up (not much), it looks like a library for some old DOS compiler.

I doubt that such libraries are compatible with the latest VC6 or VS.NET compilers.
