Hi,

Can someone help me I am looking for a manual for a LG LDK-24 (IPKSU) NEXER Phone system?

I need to add some more phone extensions to the system, which will then need to be programmed into the phones???

I need to look at the answer machine side of the system.

I have been trying to connect to the Network port however it does not respond either to a Browser connection nor to a network ping (to 192.168.1.1 as per other posts around the web). Does this device have a DHCP server built in or does it use a fixed IP address? Or does it need to be connected to a DHCP server to aquire an IP address?

Any help would be great.

Thanks.

Simon

Hi Simon,
It sounds like you are on version 3 of the Nexer CCU. Just to start you off try Trans/Pgm 72 on any phone this will give you the ip address of the system. Sometimes you need to change the network port as they can fail. Also if you do get to the web admin software it isnt guaranteed that you will gain access. The default Username and Password are admin, admin respectively. If someone has changed the latter it is extremely difficult to access the system, even if you default the Nexer the pasword stays the same...hopefully this isnt the case.

It is normally no problem to access the neXer (ipLDK-24) if you use admin (userId) and admin (password). If you do not succeed in logging in - let me know. Default IP address is 192.168.1.1 (mask 255.255.255.0).
From you can download the manual for ipLDK-100 or 300. These system have the same programming interface as the ipLDK-24.
I will see if I can find a better web page with nexer programming.

I have a few further hints. It seem s to an ipLDK-24 version 3, since you refer to it as an IPKSU.
Does it have an USB port on the processorboard? The processorboard is the board, where the LAN connectors are installed.
If no USB port, it is an ipLDK-24 version 3.0 (3.7-3.8).
You shoul use the LAN port closest to the blue lid of the nexer (or the upper LAN port, if the pbx is placed on a table). This LAN port is the "main" one!
Default IP address is 192.168.1.1/24.
Default UserID/ password is admin/admin.
If the system is purchased in Denmark special passwords are applied!!!
You cannot login to the ipLDK-24 if you do not have the correct password.
Resetting the PBX part to default (Battery off, PIN4 of SW2 - ON) will not make it possible to logon with default userID and password, since the login part sits in the datapart of the neXer.
If impossible to login try with Internet Explorer 6.0 or 7.0.

Q:
Does this device have a DHCP server built in or does it use a fixed IP address? Or does it need to be connected to a DHCP server to aquire an IP address?
A:
Yes, the device has a build-in web server and a DHCP server.
It is recommended to set the system IP address to a fixed one like 192.168.1.1 (or other).
The neXer does not need to be connected to an DHCP server to obtain an IP address.
Let me know if you have more questions...

I finally found the manual. Pls re-send your request.

Thanks for your help here.

Using Trans/PGM 72 I can see the IP is 192.168.1.1

Also having taken the top off I do not have a USB port so I guess I have a v3.0 (which appears on th eLCD when doing the Trans/PGM 72).

I will be looking at this again today tomorrow.

FYI the device is a UK version.

I was looking for a manual as I need to add some more phone extensions so need to understand what parts I need to source. We currently have 8 ports which are on two boards of 4 each.

I also want to to add/configure/setup a voicemail function which I would expect this kind of device to be able to use...

Once again thanks for the help so far.

Hi Doctor, thanks for this.

Do you have a wiring manual? I need to add a couple of extension and my trial and error method has yet to produce anything that works...

thanks

Did you get this manual. The mail delivery e-mail says that it has not been delivered. I will look after the wiring docs.
