Hi All.

New to doing this, but willing to give it ago.

My problem is that I have a apia-24ip with only 4 DKT ports, so I pruchased DTIB8, so has I can obtain more phone ports.

So I turned the unit off, installed new board, and turned the unit back on. All old phones still work ok, but only have power to the new phones.

Do I have to reprogram the system for the new board / phone, or what.

If I do need to program, how do I do this.

Thanks to all in advance.

Cheers
Robert

Not a problem.

I need to know what type of ipLDK-24, you have.

1. Make a [TRANS/PGM]+72 to see the s/w version in your ipLDK or iPECS. Just post what the display writes.
2. Write the names of the boards in the 1. and 2. cabinet and the SLOT position (ipLDK).

Otherwise you must browse with Internet Explorer to the IP address of the ipLDK-24, and logon.
Hereafter:
In PGM 101 add the DTIB8 to the SLOT available. Pull from the list.
In PGM 103 add the serach order number. See the other DTIB4 and add 1 to that number.
Restart the system in PGM450.
Now you can change the extension number in PGM110 and the facilities in PGM111-114.

Thank you.

Doktor

Tried to do a 72 for the version, but would not work.

The type is Aria-24ip (A)

Had to use the LDP-7024D at Station 10.

So Still no closer, had a look at PGM 101, but wasnt sure which slot is for the DTIB8.

Robert

Ok.

It looks more to me that you have an ipLDK-20 (model name in Europe).
Are you from Aussie?
There the model name often are different.
Check this link for ipLDK-20:
To see the verison find the Trans or PGM button. Press it and then 72 (or 40) and you will find the version number.

Yep,

In Australia.

Checked again, on the back say Aria-24ip (A).

Will give 40 ago, and see how I go.

Cheers.

have tried the following

press trans\pgm *#, then dial 72, I also did 40, I also tried 072, 040, but nothing.

And also done the same with trans\pgm 72, 40, 072, 040.

So it must be something I am doing wrong.

Cheers

I think I've struck gold,lol

without lifting hand piece up, I did a prm 72, and appear to have received some info.

Here goes:

TE66P-3.8BN MAR/09
TELSTRA

Hope this is what is required.

Robert

And also, how do you know, which slot does the board has to go into?

Ok guys, did 101, 103 and 450.

System went off, then came back up....BUT, all info gone, all phones now only say ok, sync.

No dial tone, and the station that was 10 will not let me do any programs, so now I assume I have to start from scratch, so really will need lots more information.

First, how do I get back into the system??

what a bad friday, LOL.

Robert

Sound like your intialisation switch is on.
Take the cover off and down next to the PSU there will be a bank of 4 dip switches, 4 needs to be off when programming or it will continue to reset. Make sure the rest are on.
Also make sure your battery is on.

Thanks James, yep 4 was off, rest was on, when i turned 4 on, reset, found all boards, but when I turn 4 off, then power reset, goes back to sync ok, so at the present, 4 is on until I can fix/ reprogram the system again (I was only helping out a small firm, my hair is getting less and less, LOL)

Robert

Forgot, battery was on, as I turned the unit off a few times before, and not loose anything, it all fell apart when I manually added the board, then restarted.

:-((
