Lexmark Z32, XP Pro, print problem

I got a new DELL desktop with XP Pro and installed a Lexmark Z32. When I print from IE, it prints fine. When I try to print anything from WORD or NOTEPAD or WORDPAD nothing prints. The printer starts to make noise and move like it's going to print but it just spits out a blank sheet.

Are you sure you have the correct drivers installed for XP?

There's always a better way. The fun is trying to find it!

I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the printer a couple of times using the drivers that come with XP and that didn't work. Then I decided to find the disks that came with the printer and reinstall and that worked... so it likely was due to getting the correct drivers... Thanks.....
