My print server is going down and Im looking for alternate solutions to replaceing it. On the back of the Lexmark Optra S 1650 there is a 25 pin "LPT" port. Does any one know what this is?. Can I use the Optra as a print server or is that for some other purpose? Thanx for your help. The lexmark web-site isnt respondind for me.. guess they didnt oay the bill. ha ha.

Don't know anything about this printer, but did see a mention somewhere of a serial port on this printer. A 25pin D connnector is typically for a serial connection.
