Hello,
How to I type some text and then adjust it so that all of the letters are touching? I have a paper cutter (CraftRobo)that I need to use to cut out words, but they need to be one piece. I do not want to put a bar under them, etc.

This is called Kerning right?

Can this be done easily, or do I have to create one letter at a time?

Thanks

Dave

Kerning applies to certain letter combinations. What you are trying to adjust is the Tracking. In the Character Palette, it is the second box down in the right hand column, right below the Leading (Line Spacing) box. Adjust to a negative value, and watch the letters creep closer together.

I suspect, though, that you're probably better off doing them one at a time, because when the tracking gets small enough to where the text is touching, it will look shitty.
