Hi guys,

I have a problem with a DS 1403 phone, the display shows me the letter "N", the user can make calls no problem, but if someone wants tranferirle a call is not possible and restricted brand, the team has Basic license and R.(8.1.56), the not disturb option may not be possible because it would only be possible with a function key which does not have this phone.

Any suggestion

Thanks

That mean the phone is on Do Not Disturb. See below from Avaya.

Phone Status Letters

The series of letters that appear in the top left of the display are used to indicate the status of various features.

If you are configured as a system administrator, an S in the phone's display indicates a system alarm.

ok , thank you very much , though not as disable , * 00 probe with no success , also entering the settings so basic but this does not give me any options and do not have short codes , question, right through the web console will be ?

If you're running a Basic Edition system, press Feature 01 to run DND on/off.

Yes it's correct, but I have a DS 1403 telephone, this model no count with feature key

You are indeed correct (I'll have to find a 1403 and work out how to do it from the phone). Meanwhile you'll have to use IP Office Manager to turn the user's DND off.

Or dial *09

*08 is DND on and *09 is DND off (IPOffice default shortcodes)

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Sorry tlpeter but he has a Basic Edition system so no wonderful shortcodes.

Having dug a 1403 out of my cupboard it really has to be treated like an analog phone with the only advantage being it can plug into a DS port if that is what your system is fitted with.

The only functions the phone user can invoke themselves are set by the fixed buttons on the phone (Hold, Transfer, Conference, Redial, Drop). So sorry Edgar but in the Basic Edition 1400 Series Phone user guide, pretty much everything beyond the 'call handling' section applies to 1408 and 1416 phones only.

A 1403 and basic mode.
I feel sorry for you :)

Ha, got it.

For the 1403 press # in place of the non-existent FEATURE button. So for DND on/off, dial #01 and then press DROP.
