A computer I'm working on gives the following error when exiting Outlook 2003. An outlook icon stays in the sys tray, and when clicked on says the following:

Outlook is not responding. If you are using an Exchange server email account, you can cancel pending server requests by clicking the Outlook icon in the notifications area, and then clicking Cancel Server Request on the shortcut menu.

It does this everytime Outlook is closed, and Outlook can not be opened again until the Outlook task is killed using task manager. They have been under this system for the last 2 months, and nothing has changed to my knowledge. And it is only one PC that is having this issue.

Thanks for any help you can provide,

D

somewhere in options there is a checkbox to send/receive on exit. is this checked? try unchecking it. i assume there are other clients accessing the exchange server. is this the only client with the problem?

I will check the send/receive settings.

And yes, this is the only PC on the network having th{tissues.
