We want to add voicemail to the system,
do anyone have a complete program procedue for setting up AA and mailboxes,
we need AA to answer after 4 rings during the day and immediately at night

Thank you in advance.

Try this, put all line in a calling group with no members that will over flow to voice mail(usually 770)set your over flow ring to the number of rings usually 5 sec per ring. Be sure all lines appear on the console. Then set up console for regular night service to cover to voice mail. In the MM007 card be sure to add the calling group that has all the lines to class of service 15 which is auto attd #1

The first reply is assuming the VM is inplace, the ports on the VM are added to the members of the CG or GC and you can dial 770 and get "Tin Can Sally's" greeting etc.. Is that the case? If so, Icom 770 9997# 123456# 9 654321# 4 for mail boxes or 3 for AA. Listen to her and it's realatively easy. You can even conference in someone from en external call and let them dial the digits and you can record your auto attendant greetings. Also 1 is system parameters, 2 is ...UH well, just listen the entire VM is audible programming prompts. You'll figure it out.

If you are setting up the MLM007 from scratch, before you do, go to AVAYA's website and download the manuals, including the Merlin Mail Planning & Install R3. These cover most everything you need to setup the MLM (forms and step-by-step stuff).

If you get lost repost back here for more help...
