I have a Legend with Merlin Mail and cannot for the life of me get the mailbox assigned to the operator extension #6055 to pickup when the automated attendant zeros or timesout. When I dial the DID for the operator console #6055 the mailbox answerws but in every other case (when the auto-attendant answers and I try to transfer to 6055, I zero out to the operator, or if I timeout) the mailbox will not answer and the system just rings and rings. I have the 0/timout set to go to extension 6055 and I thought that this might be the problem however I cannot even transfer from the auto attendant to 6055. Only DID works!! Please help!!

I also assigned the operator console the principal user of all the inbound trunk lines as well just as a FYI!

I would check the call ans service operator ext in merlin mail chances are it is 768 change to 6055.

Also check the class of service for 6055 it should be the same COS as all other regular mailboxes if you want people to be able to transfer to it just like any other mailbox from auto attendant.

That should take "0" and timeout calls as well as dialing ext from auto attendant to 6055 and if not answered in 3-4 rings (if no Prim or 2nd cover buttons exist) be answered by 6055 personal greeting.

Un-assign 6055 as princ user of all of the lines.

Good luck,

Phyllis

Is this just happening on 6055 or all exts? Can you call 6055 internally and it goes to vm? Make sure its in cover group. Check cos of mailbox.
