I am using Crystal Reports Version 7.0.100.15 which goes against a Microsoft SQL Server version 7. I have created a graph and want to edit the legend in the graph. I want to change the name from "Sum of @Broker#" which Broker# is the name of forumla to just "Broker" I have looked under the Chart Expert and could not find anything.

i haven not messed with version 7 i use 8 however if they are somewhat similiar you can simply go right click on the chart and click on chart expert and then go to the text tab and change any or all of these properties

This does not work. You can not edit the text of the legend using the Chart Expert

sorry that works in 8, the only other way that i know to do it in 8 is to right click again on the chart and click in format chart and then go to Titles and edit them there, however it would seem 7, 8 are quit diffrent.

I am using Crystal version 7.0.100.15 and it is going against a Microsoft SQL 7 database. I have created a chart. I want to edit the legend in the chart. Currently it is showing the calculated fields that I created. For example, it is showing "@Sum of Retail". I want to edit the legend to show just "Retail" I have gone into Chart Expert and Chart Editor to fix the legend. I have done a right click on Legend but it does not give me the option to edit the text.
