Hi, all..
One of my users mentioned that his SRM server appeared to be running slow. The only process he saw that seemed to be hogging CPU was a process called save.exe. Is this a Legato process? If it is, does anyone know if there is a way to cut down on the CPU use this process is using? I apologize if these questions are less than stellar...I'm not very familiar with the new versions of Windows.

Thanks and Regards...

Save.exe belongs to Legato, however, it generally does not consume that much of memory or cpu, there must be something wrong in the config or the server is setup improperly, could be that another process is taking up cpu\imcompatibility or conflit with another software ?
typically, save.ext averages 7000k which is not much atall.
easy to track it by noting the time that the slowdown occurs, wheather backup server is having issues and or by shuting down the group that the client is in, does that improve performance ?

save(.exe) just runs for every save set that is generated. It represents the client-initiated save process. You may run save by itself. For more details, please see the manpages.
