legato clone problems

I use Legato 6.1.3 on Solaris 8 with configured autoamic clonnig.
I've discovered that sometimes after clonnig Legato loose information about backup (I have just backup on clone - and do not on backup tape)

Has anyone seen something like that?

what you describe is Staging not cloning. In Logs the Staging is named as cloning because Cloning is a Part of the Staging view you settings !!

Ohhh you are right - preblem is that I hve configured clonnig - and it works as clonning - but sometimes it works as I described (looses information abiut some bakups on backup tape - works as staging) but it should not.

Is it known bug . . .

Staging is only able for Filedevices. So this Problem only could shown in Filedevices

When you backup your data to Tapes, Staging doesn´t work
exept commandline usage

view your staging settings for your Filedevice look if staging is enabled and look abuot the High- and Lowwatermarks and so on.

I think this will solves the problem

It looks more like a configuration mistake then a bug
