Leg. R7 and DS-1 functions

I have a customer that was shipped an R7 Leg. processor, and a Paradyne csu. They are up in arms because according to Avaya, the vintage of the processor MUST be 14.2 or higher in order to work with this csu. I haven't ever had an issue like this, but can't find any reference material on it either.

I just think that someone is making something up.

Is this true, or am I really that dumb on the Leg. System, lol! Thanks in advance.

The R7V14.2 is the least likely to have Problems because small glitches were ironed out along the way and the 14.2 was the final release, But that CSU was used on merlins long before the 14.2 came out.

So in short the Paradyne WILL work with any release of the legend.
