Leave Mail at Reception from Hunt Group

I'm pulling my hair out...

IPO 8.1.67
UCM 8.1.97

Scenario:
call comes in and rings at reception (HG Recep)
after ringing for 10 secs overflows to backup reception (HG Bkup Recep)
after 10 secs...
it starts over again.

I would like it to overflow/fallback to the reception mailbox (2221).

In vm pro client, HG Recep I have created a "Leave" Start Point that goes to a "Leave Mail" at reception (2221).

It just keeps going in circles and I would like to get off the merry go round.

What is it I'm missing?

all you need is to check the voicemail box in first HG and second HG then it will go to vm of the first called HG

Is voicemail ticked on the first group and what is the timer??

Sorry guys;
I should have said I didn't want to have 2 mailboxes for reception. I was hoping to drop the caller into just 1 mailbox at 2221.

Is that possible?
 
But from your description it isn't even going to VM at all!!

In VM Pro client, under Groups, HG Recept>leave, this is where your Leave Mail 2221 should be. (Which it sounds like it may be)

The above should work no problem.

it's not going to voicemail.
I have: "In VM Pro client, under Groups, HG Recept>leave, this is where your Leave Mail 2221 should be" this.
Have had it for awhile now and cannot understand why the call won't get to that Leave action.

The display says HG Recep for a few rings, then rings the backup/overflow for a few rings, but then stops ringing the overflow and just rings the reception phone again.

Is there somewhere I'm supposed to direct the inbound ringing to HG Recep "Leave"?
 
Turn on VM in both the main and the overflow group and make sure the timer is set correctly :)

In manager>group>grou name>voicemail tab>voicemail on and voicemail timer!!!!!
