Hi there,

Does anyone happen to have a copy of a T1 or T3 contract. I am trying to get an idea of what a carrier wants and/or guarantees to/from an end-user. Thanks

what is impt abt the contract is the bandwidth that you are subscribing...ask also if they will provide you the mrtg..it's a graphing tool that will tell you how much speed that you are consuming and they are giving...

I think TonyPo may be interested in the Service Level Agreement (SLA) portion of the contract. This specifies availability, bit error rate and other uptime and reliabiity measures.

Tony, these things can vary substantially vendor to vendor.

Or are you just interested in what is pecificed int he contract. The term is the mani thing. The longer the copntract the period the better the rate. But since rates go down longer is not always better.

Good luck
