Learning PHP

I am totally new to PHP but I would like to learn for my web production project. Can anyone suggest me a site or a book or any other good way to learn PHP for totally new beginner? I need to be able to build database, forum/message board, chatting session, userlogin feature, etc. I will really appreciate it, thanks!

I'd suggest a book "Professional PHP programming" by WROX. It is a good book to learn fundamental skills for PHP programming. I suppose this is enough for you to met your wishes.
