Hi Everyone,

I'm using Crystal Reports 8.5, Crystal Enterprise 8 and am connected via an ODBC driver to an Informix 7.3 Dynamic Server database.

Has anyone ever used the 'leadingcaps' function. It's pretty awesome for databases that store everything in all caps. Unfortunatly it works too good sometimes.

A value for one of our Agency Names is 'OC REGIONAL ONE STOP CENTER - GARDEN GROVE'. The output leadingcaps is generating is 'Oc Regional One Stop Center - Garden Grove', just like it should. My problem is, OC stands for Orange County and I need it to stay in all caps (OC). Is there a way to accomplish this with leadingcaps or another way to produce the same results.

As always, thank you.

Cheers!

It's a pain as you need to create a list of all possible terms that you don't want in mixed case.

If your data set is relatively small, you might use a series of replace() functions as in:

replace(replace({table.field},"Oc ","OC "),"Po ","PO")
