Does anyone know how to format an integer data type in a table so that leading zeros won't be dropped? Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.

The only way I know of is to store it in a text field.

Just put in zeros for the length of number that you want in the format field on the table. So for example 005289, enter 6 zeros.

Molby - Never tried that before, but it works.

AccessHawaii - Molby's suggestion is a good one, and easy to do.

Thanks. Got it working now. Another question for you. I've never ran into this before with Access but I am now. It keeps doing an auto-correct. For example if the user types in "CNA", it changes it to "Can". Anyone know how to fix this.

Go to Options, under the General tab the are options for AutoCorrect. Simply switch these off.

Disable Autocorrect on your form's textbox, or combobox as well.

This is particularly nasty when you have a 'password' textbox with Autocorrect enabled.
