I have a couple of refurbished Leader1026HS and would like to use them on our NEC IPS 2000 pabx. The problem is I do not get a dial tone when they're connected. You can be able to ring other stations but you cannot hear anything on both ends.
Is it possible to make them work on our system and if yes, how do I do that?

Many thanks.

First I have to ask some stupid questions!

Are you sure you have the handset cords plugged into the handset sockets on the phone and not the headset socket?

Then have you tried other analogue handsets on these ports?

In the mean time, don't reset the system as you could develop a wandering problem! The symptoms you desribe are reminiscent of a time slot problem. you can check this by using command F70 de len number de and posting back what you get!

Problem solved! You were correct OzzieGeorge. I had not realized that the handset socket was at the opposite side of the phone! Someone had to point it out the other day when I mentioned the problem to my colleagues. The phones are working fine now.

Many thanks.

Ariku.
