Hello!

I can't work out how to get this VOIM/VOIBE module working for SIP trunking. I was told it can do it, but I am REALLY hoping I don't need the VOIU card, because that thing is outrageously expensive.

I am attaching a copy of the Database in the hope someone can help me configure it, or find something that I looked over. There is no password on the DB.

I also can't seem to be able to upgrade the firmware from 1.0 Ac to 1.1 . The connection will reset when trying to upgrade in Chrome or IE.

Thanks!

PGM 140 you need to changed the line type to ISDN ddi for the voip lines 5-6
PGM 322 voip mode needs to be sip
PGM 340 need the firewall address
PGM 341 Domain needs filling in
& i would say PGM 111 need the SIP uid to be 1
give this a go and then do a reset and test

OK - Done that

I have a dial tone (sounds like the ICM dial tone) on lines 5 to 8, but can't dial

When dialling, after 10 seconds it says "LINE 05 RELEASED". Does the same for all lines

I found this : Which gave me some help, but from the looks of it I am tricking the system to thinking it is using ISDN via SIP.

It also mentions something about the DID Table, CLIP and COLP tables, and I am clueless with ISDN programming.
Here is the latest backup attached

PGM341 Sip attribute 1- Domain needs filling in, normally the same as the proxy server address above.

Port 5060 is forwarded, any other ports to forward?

Also, after inputting domain (Not sure if should be IP address or not) of "sip.au.didlogic.net" and dialing, I now get

LINE 05 RELEASED
CAUSE 403
FLASH

appear on my screen when attempting to dial. If I dial in E164 though, the call connects.

Can not receive calls in though - I get a busy tone when attempting to call the system in

Never mind about not calling in - fixed the problem with DID Table

Phone number ending in 924, adjusted Index 924 in DID table - calls follow in as expected.

I want to be able to dial as normal, on a ATA, I am using this dialing plan
(<0:61>[23478]xxxxxxxxS0|<:613>[589]xxxxxxxS0|61[23478]xxxxxxxxS0|<4411:>xx.|<1800:611800>xx.S0|<13:6113>xx.S0

Phone numbers in Australia are 10 digits long, but if in the local area, 8 digits long
My area code / number is (03) xxxx x924 [+61 3 xxxx x924
Local dialing, I dial xxxx xxxx and the ATA puts a 613 in front (Country code 61, area code 3)
For national calling, I dial 0x xxxx xxxx and the ATA replaces the 0 with 61 for E164 dialing.
International dialling is normally 0011, but I can't get 0011 working on the ATA so I use 4411.

Currently, for calling out I have to do everything in E164 format, whilst do-able, is a bit of a pain. Is it possible to change the settings for the VOIM to accomodate this dialing plan or something similar ?
DIDlogic (SIP provider) only allows for 1 entry in their custom dial plan

You can use the LCR table for this,
PGM 221, Compared Digits add your 00 then Day zone 1 add 000000 this will then look at PGM 222 index 0 in here u can then add and remove digits when dialing out, so u will be adding 44 and removing the first 2 digits.once this is done then PGM 220 to turn on and set this to M11.

Thanks, but I am not clear on what to do:

Can you explain in a bit more detail what to do with LCR and COLP tables?

I need for local numbers (xxxx xxxx), the system to add 613 at the start
National numbers (0x xxxx xxxx) to remove the 0, and add 61
International numbers (4411 xx.) to remove the 4411

This is to keep consistency with the current dial plan

Current entry in COLP Table is :
Index 0 - 31211
Index 1 - 61

So PGM 221 is where you put the digits you want the system to look at so for National number you would just put 0 in the compared digits, then in day zone 1 you would then put the index number you want the system to look at so this would be in T1-01 T2-01 T3-01 in your case, as you got to fill in T1,T2 and T3. Then in PGM 222 you have already put in the digits you want to add this being 61 and you would then need to change the number of digits to remove to 1 as you want to remove just 1 digit.Hope this helps

Is this right ? Because it isn't working! :(
Selecting line group 3 (Lines 5-8, served by VOIM) are still needing me to dial in E164

PGM 221 change your day zone 1 to 0 as this is where you have your 61 in index 0.

OK - I think that is working - I am not getting CAUSE 403 errors now when trying to dial my mobile (04xx xxx xxx) number - worked OK now

For national numbers, I'll do that through Index 1, Day Zone 1 in PGM 221, and Index 1 in PGM 222 ?

With local numbers, they start with a 5, 8 or 9 here. Do I need to make seperate indexes for them?

Yes you will in PGM 221 for Compared digits, but then in the Day zone 1 you can send them to the same index number in PGM 222.

Thanks for your help. I will test it out in the morning as its 0330 here.

Thanks again :)
