Hi all, still plugging away with our LDK-100 We have had a LDK 100 working for the past 10 years.

Currently when we receive call they come straight to the hunt group.

What I'd like to do is have a greeting announcement That then Passes to the hunt group.

I've set up an announcement on the Phone number, but it drops that call after being played. I've been through the manual and all the PGM's, but I'm missing that link!

Any help or advise would be gratefully received.

Cheers Jez.

Hi

DISA Dest is set to tone. PGM 167 and change 1st three Flex buttons to ATD, In PGM144 program Hunt group to ring. When announcement plays and you hold, pgm 167 kicks in and ATD refers to ring assignment.

Ok, Press Trans *#..... TRANS/PGM..... the transfer key?.......sigh!

Thanks Eats, but I couldn't get that to work. Properly to technical for me!

I'm using LDK PCadmin for the programming.

In the DDI Table (PGM231), I set the Day Type to be VMIB, this plays the announcement, but then give a "Time has expired" message.

By trying a few things I found that if I set the (PGM228) CCR 1 destination to Hunt Group if I press 1 before the time has expired then it rings the hunt group

Look at it further there is an index with various options, which I'm guessing are sub menus, but how/where do you assign the Index.,

Cheers,
Jez.

Hey mate, based on what I read, you want a message to play, then the call to proceed to the hunt group?

You can do that via Station Group Attributes (PGM 191)

Set your VMIB announce 1 timer to 0, and the VMIB announce location to the number of the bin that you recorded the VMIB message that you want to play on. Eg, if the VMIB message is on bin 003, enter 3. Do NOT enter a # mark, as it signals the system to drop the call immediately after playing the message.

See how you go with that.

Thanks Angel, works a treat!

The other thing I wanted to do was given them the option to leave a message.

Currently we have (option 1 hear message again, Option 2 be transfers to one of our speed dials), I'd like an option 3 so they can leave a message.

Cheers,
Jez.

Hi Jez,

Depends how you want to access the messages, and what firmware you are running.

If you are running firmware 3.9, then you can set the overflow to Hunt Mailbox, and I will detail that for you below.
If you are running firmware 3.8 or earlier, then you will have to make do with a Station Mailbox.

Based on your description to me, I assume that you have a hunt group (example Group 620) set up, and you have it overflowing to a CCR menu (example VMIB 10).
For the purpose of this example, I will run with that assumption.

Here is what I would do with your situation with (using firmware 3.9 :

Set group 620 to overflow to VMIB 10 after XX seconds.
Go to PGM 228, Custom Call Routing and select the Index number that corresponds to the VMIB you overflowed to.
Set Destination 1 to VMIB 10
Set Destination 2 to System Speed 2xxx
Set Destination 3 to Hunt Group 621
Set group 621 to include the same stations used in group 620
Set group 620 to overflow after 1 second to destination Group Mail Box
Go to any phone in group 621 and press TRANS/PGM 6 8, 621 and record a mailbox greeting
Assign a flex key to access the Group Mail Box (PGM 88 621)

I hope that provides some insight for you.

If you are not using Firmware 3.9, then you can still follow the same process, but instead of using a Hunt Group in Option 3, set it to a station mailbox, and record a voicemail greeting under PGM 61 from the station you nominate to be your voicemail phone.

Let me know how you go with all that!

Angel
