Hi i would like to use pcadmin first time to save my site config.
I only want be sure a dont make error.
1) install pc admin
2) login Admin pass 0000 then new site and save
3) Get Information (From current connected site)

but
1) if i use an usb to serial adaptor to connect.
the rs232 cable between serial adaptor must be female/female but cross or not cross?
2) I need to set com port in 19200 ?
3) I must set my location (italy) in pcadmin or pcadmin save all data
There are some tip ?

The serial cable must be not cross (Standard configuration)

2) I need to set com port in 19200 ?

In the ipldk the port is to 19200 (PGM 174), so you must set up your port on the laptop or modem at 19200, or boths to 9600.

3) I must set my location (italy) in pcadmin or pcadmin save all data
You must set your location in PGM 100 AND SW1-4 ON AND UPDATE, then TURN OFF SW1-4 AND reset the ipldk.

i have ldk ready installed, i want only save my config whitout make a mistake.
In italia user guide i read sw8 must be on to read automaticaly the configuration, so i want to know how to read config whithou make a problem, but in english i have not about this.
Can you give me more instruction step dy step from opening the case till reclose after connection.

ipldk is: 1200 bps
printer (epson lx 300) is 1200bps

is better i trie to change setting or i can connet ever if my ipldk is setting at 1200?

I need to change setting in my pc or my pc auto-adat it self?

First: What model is your iplDK?
I Know about ipldk 60 (Mexico)
In ipldk 60 you must turn ON SW2 and SW1-4 turn OFF to save your configuration, if not,in case of turn off the pbx, your configuration return to fabric

you can save your configuration in a file, with LDK UTILITIES MENU.(XXXXX.USR)at your laptop.

or, you can get a print out of your Database in PGM 451, PGM 175 Admin Print=COM1 for serial port.

Just install your LDK PC ADMIN program, and connect your PC to your LAN, where also your ipLDK-xxx product has been installed with a valid fixed/static IP-address in the IP-address range/scope.
IP-addresses are set in PGM108. Also remember the default gateway (must).
Reset the ipLDK-xxx after you have programmed your ip-address.

1) i connetc trought com port to my ipldk 100
PGM174 is set to 1200bpt (as my printer):
I need to change this setting?
Can i use the same cable or the cable for serial printer is also no cross?
In PCAdmin where is buttuns save config?
Now, before connect, i d0n't have.

2)After reading, if i make a change i must press reset and restart?

As I am not in the office this week, I cannot give you the details for the serial cable.

But, for evey change of ip-addresses and serial settings, you need to restart your ipLDK-system.

I connet to my ldk 100 whit pc admin on line but if i want to save my config, i need to use admin offline?, because a don't found were save to hard disk.

swich 8 in mpb (to get configuration) must be on or off ?

You open PCAdmin ON LINE. don´t connect to ipldk
You will see a LDK Utiliy tab
click on tab and you will see LDK DB Upload/Download
Select it
select you type of ipldk
Select Download from ipLDK AND TCP Connection
Type IP address of your ipLDK
Admin Password:BLANK (NONE)
UPLOAD DB FILE: put the path where you want you file.usr
PUSH NEXT
Display another window,PUSH START
You will see comunications between ipldk and your laptop
When finish OK

Whit this procedure i make a copy of database and i can edit whit admin offline? i dont clear ipldk?

2) switch 8 must on motherboard be on or off ?

1 yes you can,you have making a Backup.
you can edit with PC Admin OFF LINE and then UPLOAD
2 I don´t know, because I have a ipLDK 60 and it doesn´t have SW8, it have SW1 and must set OFF dip switch 4, otherwise you return to fabric. Too SW2 ON (Battery)

The switch SW8 must on motherboard (MPB) be OFF to secure your back-up.
Also set the battery switch to ON.

I connet whith admin online V 3,7 Ch to a Ipldk 3,7 Ce, i don't understant if there are differnce of version, i hope no, i download the file (720896 bps = 704 * 1024) but finaly i tell fail to up/download and the file is 705 KB.
I trie the same thing whit another ipldk V3,7 dh and it's the same
I need ldkamni online 3,7 Ce for Ce and 3,7 dh for 3,7 dh or admin 3,7 work for all version of 3,7XX ?
and for OFFline the same?

Hi trie to open my usr files whith pc admin pro offline 3,7 ah, but :
1) when i open v 37ce office it open it but it tell
Message] Data is loaded to memory successfully.
[Message] __prot_pgm_stn_data bit area is arranged.

[Message] __prot_pgm_sys_data bit area is arranged.
2) when i open v37dh hotel it tell me
This is a DB of older version . Try to open vith an older version of PCADMIN, then
[Message] Data is loaded to memory successfully.

[Message] __prot_pgm_col_data bit area is arranged.
[Message] __prot_pgm_sys_data bit area is arranged.

The system software of the ipLDK should match the s/w version of the LDK PC ADMIN program.
To check the system s/w of the ipLDK press Trans/prog +72.

do you know if there is a pcadmin online v 37ce and v37 dh, and the same thing for offline?

The best result is obtained if the LDK PC ADMIN version match the ipLDK system software version.
I have just used LDK PC ADMIN version 3.7CF and the LDK PC ADMIN PRO (Off line program) version 3.7Dh with success.
