Hi all, Sorry if this has been posted before but I did try and search for an answer to my question!

We have an LDK-20 phone system that intermittently has issues. When we come into the office in the morning we regularly sit there thinking 'The phones are very quiet this morning!' I then go to call the office using my mobile and all I get is a beeping line. I then switch off the LDK-20 for a minute or so then switch back on, and all is working fine.
It has done it for a few years now but it is getting rather intolerable now! Has anyone got any idea of what could be causing this problem? The system uses a netgear adsl modem (which we have changed to see if that fixes the problem) that connects to a dedicated adsl line. The SIP etc. is provided by BT.

I did think about doing a software update on the box to see if anything changed, but I could not find the relevant PC ADMIN software for our firmware version.
Our version is UK66P-C.7Ee MAR/08

If anyone can help that would be great.

Thanks

Very strange indeed. It almost sounds like trouble with your CO Lines (I remember you said you were having SIP issues).
Have you tried to reboot the entire system, including the router ?

I hav'nt rebooted the router. I will do that now.

On our phones, they display: STATION 104 (T)(station differs obviously)
What does the T mean?

Also, we have noticed that during calls, it says: DID: 0149
We are all pretty sure it never used to say that?

Just restarted the whole system. Still no luck!

If you want, make a backup of your DB in PC ADMIN and I'll take a look at it.
Can you take a picture and show me what you are refering to, with DID: 0149 ??

STATION 104 ( T ) - Station 104, Tone answering mode...

T / H / P - Refers to the Intercom answering mode.
T - Tone (Rings normally)
H - Handsfree (On ICM Calls, the phone will beep 3 times and the phone automatically enters speakerphone)
P - Privacy (On ICM Calls, the phone will beep 3 times, speaker activates, but microphone is muted)

What is the best way for me to send you a dump of our settings?

FYI our area code is 01493. Could that be something to do with it?

Upload it to Mediafire? I put my database up there when I needed help

In PGM 200 - Flex 5, take out your area code. See if that helps ?

PGM 200 - F6, Take out the 0 in the Area Code Prefix.

Press SPEED if programming from handset to delete

We have taken out the area code, Still comes up with DID: 0149

Strange!

I'm not seeing any settings that would be causing that either! Sorry I can't be of much help with this one.
If you choose line 1, is it actually Line 1, or does it say something different under on the display?

Example: At work, Lines 1 to 3 are actually Lines 5 to 7.
Check by choosing a line, or press PGM and then flex key for line(s)

When you press a line key it just says LCR Mode. But, when you make a call and it connects, it then says the lines.

Line 1 = Line 9
Line 2 = Line 10
Line 3 = Line 11
Line 4 = Line 12

Line 1 - 4 was taken from the flex keys on station 100

I will do some more looking in to your system in the morning. Its 0120 here and i have to sleep. I'll post back soon

PGM 140 shows your lines 09-12 are ISDN DID lines? I thought you were using SIP trunks and an earlier picture of yours shows that you have lines connected to LCO 5/6 7/8 ?
Also lines 9 and 10 don't have hold music enabled, just a hold tone.

More data about your setup is needed:
Where are LCO 5/6 and 7/8 going on your system?

We dont have a clue where LCO 5/6/7/8 go to Im afraid! I have unplugged them and nothing has changed.
Yes we 100% use sip. We have the top mounted VOIB module, and during a call, the activity light flashes on the ADSL modem.

Would that be why our phones have started to say DID on them?

Odd. Plug it back in and see if you get a dial tone on lines 5-8? Dial 88xx where xx is the 2 digit line you want. 8807 would choose line 07
