A customer sent me the below enquiry, but I am at a loss with this one. Can anyone help please?
We like using the +44 1268 88xxxx number in our active directory so when our overseas offices call using our Global address book they can get straight through. Trouble is if we use this format and for mobiles, when a Director calls in on his Mobile which is in AD as +44 71230123456, the CLI incoming drops the +44 and adds 0 so the incoming call becomes 071230 123456 and the Avaya directory does not recognise this because in the Avaya directory updated from LDAP it’s in the format of +44 so it does not show who is calling in.
Do you know if there is any way round this.
For outgoing calls we managed to get it working by adding a short code for +44 change to 0N but incoming we are struggling.
