LDAP needs 9 to dial out

I'm having a problem with syncronizing the phones with out LDAP server. The phone numbers do no include the 9 needed by the IP Office to dial out. I could add the 9 to each entry, but this will cause issues with other users who sync their mobile phones via Exchange Activsync. These users obviously can not dial the contact from their mobile device with the 9 present.

Is there a way to have the 9 added in through the LDAP syn settings in IP Office so I can list them without the 9 in the actual LDAP database?

I would use system shortcodes to do this, should be fairly straight forward. You just need one to catch the calls without a 9 prefix and send it to ARS :)

This solution only half works. I followed the instructions to enable dailing out without 9. now my directory shortcuts work but when a call comes in from a number in the directory, the system does not display the name from the directory on the caller ID because the calls come in with a 9.

ROFL! I don't think I've ever been told that any of my solutions "only half work". Had to stare at that for a moment. I might have to go crawl into a corner somewhere.
