LDAP, ADSI and Openldap: only standard schema

Hello,

Is it possible to use ADSI component with openLdap and read non standard attributes ?

In fact, the rootDSE provides only the standard schema. Can we force it to provide all the schemas ?

Have you tried the IADsPropertyList.GetPropertyItem method to force a specific syntax?

    Dim propEntry As IADsPropertyEntry
    Dim propVal As IADsPropertyValue
    Dim attributValue As String
  
    Set propList = GetObject(<adsPath>)
    propList.GetInfo
    Set propEntry = propList.GetPropertyItem( _
          &quot;<nomAttribut>&quot;, _
          ADSTYPE_CASE_IGNORE_STRING)
    Set propVal = propEntry.Values(<leNumeroAttribut>)
    attributValue = propVal.CaseIgnoreString

I think it's a good alternative. If you find a better solution, I'm glad to know it !
