Yes, I am speaking of an Opt.11
So there is no difference other than the card slot. I leave a card in slot B of all my Opt.11's and do BKO whenever I make changes, be it remote or local.
Check out Nortel manual 553-3011-500 (Sept. 2004), Small System Maintenance, pages 19-38. It goes into some detail about LD 43 and LD 143, both backing up and restoring.
1. the backup database using by LD43 & LD143 will have different procedures to restore, follow FonePhreak advise to read the NTP
2. when using BKO in LD43, the database will overwrite existing last backup database
3. when using achieve database in LD143, you can save it on difference folder, which means you can have more than one database backup on same PC-card.
