I have an IVR that is saying that it is not receiving T-1 timing. The t-1's are coming from our Opt 81 and I see in LD 96 that the primary and the Backup D Channels are swapped. I am not sure that would make a difference but I thought I would ask. Also if I do the command in LD 96
SDCH DCH 040 to swap the primary back to active will that drop calls? And how can I tell which T-1 is providing timing to the IVR?
Thank you

What do you mean the ds' are swapped? No the calls won't drop if you swap.

I have 14 D channels 7 primary and 7 backup. They handle 28 T-1's on different Trunk groups. I am not sure when the Primary failed and the backup took over. Which brings up another question. can I set up an SMTP alert when I have a T-1 failure? if so Can somebody direct me where to look.

Thank you

Go to LD 73 and do a PRT on DDB this will give you where the clocking is coming from, normally you will have a Primary and a Secondary.
You can switch them back if you want in LD 96.

You can print the history file in ld 22. If there was a problem with the ds' you might be able to find it there.
