Unfortunately I can not dial into my 81c and am forced to use a terminal. I would like to be able to review some IDC info that is used in conjunction with ACD queues. Is there a way to print this without having to look at the entire listing of entries?

Thanks in advance!!

I asked the same thing... i was told that since i sit in the switch room i can just use the terminal and that the SEB is only for monitoring only and i should not dial in via core modem.

I am very tempted to dial in via SEB, grab what I need then get out.

The SEB is a 2 way device and it is used by your maint Co. to Monitor and make changes to your system and is normally connected to TTY Port 0, which is the master TTY Port. there is no reason you can't dial in though the SEB if you know the password for the SEB as it is different from the switch. almost all tech's use port 0 to do maint.

I will this as leverage for I had told them that I have always dialed into other switches in this manner.
Their whole thing was well we have 2 terminals in the switch room with printers so you might as well use them.

They did not want to even entertain the idea of setting up access from over the network...

So in the interim, is there a way to just look at individual entries or is it a lost cause? I tried and i get errors or wind up starting to print a whole lot of entries...

Thanks ace!

I don't have access to a system anymore but you should be able to print just 1 entry or several entrys without printing everything.
post what you get and what you type when you try to print this info and maybe i will beable to tell you what your doing wrong.

this is when it starts to print all of the entries.

What happens if you enter the number you want instead of just 1?

i get a schitz code. sch4565 tree number is out-of-range for LD 49 (o-254)

oh well. i thought i would bounce it off the minds here.

Thanks alot ace.
Have a good weekend\night\day or however it applies to you all.

I feel your pain. Until just recently I worked at a call center that had over 170,000 DNIS entries in table 1 alone. All together there were 200,000 + entries. It used to take an hour and a half to capture the file and then perform a Find operation. There is no way to selectively search trhough the database. Which is strange, since you can selectively search through the DN database...
