LD 49 IDC creation problems

Good day,

I want to create a new IDC entry in LD 49 and each time I attempt it I get an error when I get to the DCNO prompt under the NEW request. I get an error SCH4565 which indicates that the "Tree number is out of range for LD 49 (0-254)". I have tried DCNO numbers like 1, 10 and 100 with the same result. From looking at the manual I believe the range should be from 0 - 254 where 0 should not be used.

Any insights are appreciated.

I found the answers by searching the forums. In LD 21 I saw that the number of IDCs was set to 1.
