I have 2 IPO’s in a scn and would like to setup LCR to route calls across the VOIP link when all lines are busy. I have not set this up before and the information I have found is unclear. I have setup a working hour’s time profile and need to verify what short codes the system will need in the Main Route and Alt Route. I have the exact match as the system [9]1N; and [9]N; in the main route. I have also add this to the alt route with changing the line id to the voip line and adding a 9 in front of the telephone number. Should this work?

No.

In LCR you use the phonenumbers wich are send to the line and not the shortcode dialled by the user.

Example :

System shortcodes:
9/./SecondaryDialTone/0
[9]N;/N/Dial/0
[9]1N;/1N/Dial/0

N or 1N are the numbers send to the line.

If 1N has to go through LCR then in LCR you have:
main route over linegroup ID 0
1N/1N/Dial/0

1st Alternative over Linegroup ID 99
1N/91N/Dial/99

If everything has to go through LCR then:
main
?/./Dial/0

Altern.
?/9N/Dial/99
In the IPO at the other end you must add a shortcode in the IP line like this:
9N/N/Dial/<local line ID>
Then calls will break out without passing the shortcode list and/or LCR of the remote site.

Ok I have added the ?/./Dial/0 to the main and ?/9N/Dial/VOIP Line to the alt route. The VOIP line on the other side has a sc of 9N/N/Dial/0 where 0 is the pri to dial out the pstn. I see the call in call status go to the VOIP line on the LCR side but I get nothing on the far end and the call is off hook dead air. Should the pri sc have Dial 3k1 instead of Dial?

Within a SCN the trunk numbers must be unique otherwise breakout won't work.

I'll test tomorrow and then i come back on this.
