This must be simple but I've been wresting with ACAD for a while. We want to have options of what layers to show in some situations and not others. We have, say, base and uppers cabinet layers. I want to be able to choose "Uppers" in, I guess, Property Manager, and have the base layer not be visible. But when I make a new layer filter called "Uppers", any changes to layers is the same for all filters. Same for groups. I feel dumb. How do I set up a "profile" that uniquely sets up properties for layers and doesn't affect any other profiles? Thanks.

Seems to be in the Layer States. I'll give that a try.
