Layer Froze in paperspace

A xref layer will get froze in a viewport using the express layer freeze tool, but then later when trying to turn the layer on, it will not show up in paperspace. It will be viewable in model space and is shown to be thawed in the layer dialogue box in all viewports and model space. How do I get it to be viewable/printable in my viewport again?

I believe it is the VPLAYER command.

While in paper space, if you make a view port current and freeze a layer using the express tools, it freezes that layer for that viewport only. if you have more then one viewport in that PS layout, you will still see the layer in all other viewports. Therfore, to see that layer again in the viewport it was frooze in, make that view port current, and open you layer dialog box and go to that layer and unpick the "freeze current vp" option.

Good judgment comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment
