I have a demo reel clip that I need to be able to launch from a multimedia CD with company info. I have been all through the Flash 5 help files, training videos and Tek-Tips forums and can't find anything on this. Surely there is a way to do this! Can anyone help me?

Thanks in advance,
Jeff

I don't have flash 6 player that I know of. Although, i have been to sites that have been designed on flash 6 and i can view them. Plus I am making the movie into an .exe, so am i correct to say that I wouldn'd need a player.

My .wmv file is in the folder with the my flash file that i will be making into an .exe. If i put it in my c:/windows directory, how will i be able to include the .wmv on my cd when i am done?

Well, presuming you do have some version of the Flash 6 player installed (and i guess so may other users of this CD), I know new restrictions apply and, for security reasons, execs now must be in a folder named "fscommand" which is a direct subfolder of the projector.

See: Exec example in the middle of that page.

Now, I've never burned any CDs, but I guess the same would apply on a CD.

As for the projector file, it's not that you need an external player, but that there is a player built in the projector. Regards,
