Just had to share this.

We were a BlackBerry-only shop after a long fight to get them in here. I lobbied for, and won, entry of the Treo. Now we use both systems with BES and GoodLink, respectively.

Whenever we have to add new licenses for BES, we're completely shut out when we use up our original number until we buy more. In contrast to that, GoodLink allows us to add as many as we need RIGHT NOW as soon as the need arises. We just have to pay for them as necessary.

This is perfect for the executive who just has to have his phone hooked up RIGHT NOW for email when you don't have any spare licenses. There is no unnecessary waiting for PO's or invoicing.

Congratulations to GoodLink on a "start it up when you need it" system that meets our needs perfectly!

I couldn't agree with you more. There is no contest, Good blows RIM away in every aspect. We started with RIM, then switched to Good a couple of years ago and everyone loved it. The users love that it synced instead of just forwarded and I loved the centralized administration. Last August, some executives decided against my wishes to switch back to RIM (for overseas access, which doesn't always work) and it was like going back in time. All of a sudden I had to run around the office and deal with that idiotic Desktop Manager again. At least I got to say I told you so when the executives started complaining that the new devices weren't doing what their old devices could. We had to buy a top of the line machine and load it up with extra RAM for the RIM server, while my Good server just chugged along on the old laptop I set it up on for over two years with no problem. Factor in all the time I've spent on hold waiting for RIM, and it's just been a disaster.

If you're trying to decide which route to take go with Good.

I agree too! We've used both solutions and have been won over by GoodLink.
