latest vesrion of software suppported on bcm 400

Hi,


Can someone verify what the latest vesion of BCM software I can put on a BCM400. We are currently usaing version 4.

My supplier wants to sell me version 6.0. but I am not sure if it will run on BCM 400.

Version 4.0 was the final release for the BCM 400 systems. You would have to upgrade to a BCM 450 for release 6.0 and that is all new hardware, except for the modules.

There is also a hardware and software kit available to upgrade your BCM400 to a ~450 to that you can run 6.0 software.

That's what I tought.
I asked because my TELCO is planning a reinstall to solve some problems and they told me they will upgrade my software to version 6.0. But we are not going to buy any hardware that is already EOL anyway.

BCM 450 hardware/software is not yet end-of-sale let alone end-of-life.
