I put a Cajun P130 on my network but haven't plugged my 8500 or IPSI into yet due to high ping times from Cajun. I have the ports on Cajun locked to 100 FULL as well as the ports on the Cisco switch. I almost always return pings of 15 MS or higher, occasionally dipping into 2-3 ms.
Is there something I'm overlooking in the setup of the Cajun that could cause this?

Tracert looks correct. I ping'd from my desk and it hits gateway, switch, cajun. Gateway and cajun both respond in less than 1 ms, then Cajun genererates 15 to 16 ms.

you can get into the cisco switch and look at the port for errors. CRC errors may require cable to be changed. What about the firmware for the P130. Is that uptp date ?

Firmware is up to date, Cisco switch is showing a lot of runts coming from Cajun. I'm going to try another cable.
