Last login Table? 1

Hi everyone,

We use Peoplesoft 8.3 (HR module).
1. I like to know if there is a way to check when a user was logged in for the last time.

2. Is there a way to see what users are logged in at this very moment?

PSOPRDEFN stores the last login time for all users in the field LASTSIGNONDTTM. As for current users, you are probably best getting this from the DBMS tables directly - eg in Oracle from v$session.

Unfortunately the PSOPRDEFN table does not contain the field LASTSIGNONDTTM on our instalation. Probably because we are running on 8.3?

Sorry about that - that field must have been new with Tools 8.4x. Have you looked at the signon data in the app server log? Might take some manipulation, but you should be able to identify login events.

Another thing you could look at is setting up a table to log the signon user ID and timestamp and have this table updated through the signon PeopleCode.
